Eat the fog.
Waiting for perfect information is a decision to do nothing. We make reversible decisions fast and irreversible decisions slowly. Both deliberately.
Careers
We're hiring people who can hold the pen on the products shaping consumer life: fandom, finance, and the foundations for an open digital future.
The team
The biggest brands in the world chose Flow. Now we're using those same rails to put real financial opportunity in everyone's hands.
Just getting started.
How we work
Waiting for perfect information is a decision to do nothing. We make reversible decisions fast and irreversible decisions slowly. Both deliberately.
We start with the customer experience and work backwards. Asset, app, network: none of it matters if the person on the other end isn't getting something real.
In a market where only outliers truly succeed, small cautious bets are a guaranteed path to oblivion. We celebrate bold failure louder than timid success. Stretch goals are telescopes, not cliffs.
Cut the work into pieces that ship. Two-week tests with explicit kill criteria. If a date is going to slip, scope shrinks before the date moves. Velocity is a function of how small you can break the work down.
Every team owns its own infrastructure, its own data, its own stack. Centralized solutions are the exception, not the rule. The price of decentralization is documentation: write what you built, where, and why, so the next person doesn't rediscover it.
Every change here is a loop: written spec, execution, verification. We compress the repeatable middle. The judgment calls (the only part that should be slow) get the time they need. If you can describe what good looks like and what proves it, the rest moves fast.
What we expect
We tell each other when the work is wrong. We tell ourselves when the work is wrong. We don't paper over hard problems with optimism. Pride without bravado.
Whatever your role (engineer, designer, finance, ops, comms), you ship in code or in code-adjacent artifacts. You read code to understand what's possible. You don't wait for someone else to translate.
You think in loops. You write specs. You instinctively reach for an agent before you reach for a human. You can describe what good looks like and what proves it.
You ship. Your default surface is a PR, a written spec, a working prototype, a loop in production. Not a deck or a meeting. You write things down. You publish.
You start with the end in mind, define your own success criteria, and course-correct without being asked. You don't need a manager to tell you what to work on. You'll have one anyway.
How we hire
We don't do whiteboard puzzles. We don't do six rounds. We don't do take-homes that take a week.
We do real conversations and real work. Three steps.
Conversation
1–2 conversations with the hiring manager, two hours total at most. Walk through what you're building right now, what you're curious about, what you'd want to build here. We tell you what the role actually is and what would make you successful in it.
Craft loop
A small piece of the actual work: a written spec, a working prototype, a code review, a strategy memo, depending on the role. Two-to-four hours, paid for non-staff roles, never longer than a day. We share what we're looking for in advance.
Team day
The vast majority of candidates won't reach this step. Most decisions are made earlier. For the few who do: three to four conversations with people you'd work with, including at least one person who would not be your manager. We expect you to come with hard questions. We answer them. We make a decision within forty-eight hours.
Use whatever tools help you do the work well during the craft loop. We'll ask how you got there. Pretending you didn't use something obvious is the wrong answer.
The conditions

Top-tier medical, dental, vision. Mental health support.
AI
Anthropic API and OpenAI for everyone, no usage caps for legitimate work. Cursor, Claude Code, agent infrastructure on tap. We use what we build.
Get in touch
We're hiring across engineering, product, design, and consumer finance. Roles change quickly, so the best signal is the work, not a JD.
Write to us at careers@dapperlabs.com. Tell us what you've built, what you'd want to build here, and why this company. Be specific. Show us the work.
If you read this and recognized yourself, we'd like to meet you. If you read this and want to argue with it, we'd like that too.
